Lifting

The angle that slows time

This is not about erasing age. It is about turning back the direction of sagging, bringing you closer to the face you had a few years ago, and holding on to the beauty you have now for longer.

Profile of a middle-aged woman

Our principle

Before lifting anything, we look at the whole face

Sagging does not start in one place. When the cheek drops, the nasolabial fold deepens; when the jawline blurs, it carries down into the neck. Lift one area alone and only that area looks off.

So in the first consultation, rather than picking a procedure, we look at which area is sagging most and which layer has lost its firmness.

Practitioner

Hong Soon-be

Board-certified ENT specialist · PhD coursework completed Korean Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery

The layered structure and anatomy of the face are studied in depth in ENT and head and neck surgery. Working from that understanding, we examine the structure of the face closely and aim for treatment that is precise and safe.

Scope

Sorted by where it sags

We don’t sort by device name. The method changes depending on which layer has sagged.

01

Loss of firmness

Not sagging yet, but no longer what it was. At this stage, the least treatment lasts the longest.

02

Cheeks · nasolabial folds

We work to lift the sagging cheek back into place and, where needed, fill the hollowed area so the fold softens naturally.

03

Jawline · double chin

We start by telling sagging from fat. Different causes mean entirely different methods.

04

Eye area · forehead

Sometimes the reason eyes look heavy is the forehead, not the eyelid.

05

When surgery is needed

There is a clear stage that non-surgical treatment cannot reach. When you are there, we will say so.

Process

Reading the layers comes first

We read the layers of the face, set the direction of the lift, and treat only what needs treating.

Diagram of facial layers — epidermis · dermis · subcutaneous fat · SMAS · muscle · bone
01

Identifying the layer

We look separately at skin, at fat, and at the fascia beneath them.

02

Explaining what is possible

We tell you first how far non-surgical treatment goes and where it stops.

03

Treating by target layer and area

Depending on the procedure and how much discomfort it involves, we use topical, local or sedation anaesthesia. Treatment time varies with the area and the method.

04

Assessing at 3 months

We don’t recommend additional treatment before the result has fully appeared.

After treatment

Until the effect shows

The effect of lifting appears over months, not right after treatment. You may look in the mirror the next day and be disappointed.

Day of treatment — day 3

Redness · tingling

There may be mild swelling. Usually it doesn’t interfere with daily life.

Weeks 1 — 2

A feeling of pressure

Some areas may ache when you chew or feel tender to the touch.

1 month

First change

Often the people around you notice before you do.

3 months

Peak effect

We see you again and assess. Whether anything more is needed is decided at this point.

1 — 2 years

How long it holds

Ageing continues in the meantime. This is about slowing it, not stopping it.

Risks and limits

What to know beforehand

We write this as large as the good news. Nothing here is in small print.

Ageing does not stop

It continues at the same pace after treatment. This slows it; it does not stop it.

Results vary by person

Outcomes differ widely depending on skin thickness and how much it has sagged.

Hollowed cheeks

If the cheeks hollow, adjusting the intensity is not the answer; a different approach is needed.

Nerve irritation

Rarely, facial sensation may dull or a muscle may weaken temporarily.

Burns · pigmentation

Because the treatment uses energy, these can occur in rare cases.

Repeat cost

You will repeat it every 1–2 years. Look at it as a ten-year cost, not a one-off figure.

Pricing

Flawless work, fairly priced

Lifting is priced by device and number of shots. We post the device name together with the shot count.

With the same device, fewer shots means a lower price. A lower price is not necessarily a better deal, so either way we show you the numbers.

Non-covered fees are posted under Article 45 of the Medical Service Act.
